Kyoton-9 is a popular Keynotathlon creator who joined YouTube on January 1, 2018. He is best known for creating the Keynotathlon series on YouTube, but has also created a few camps as well.

Series

Keynotathlon

The Keynotathlon series is the flagship series of Kyoton-9, consisting of color contestants competing in multiple events. It is based on Mariobrosaa Productions's Keynotathlon.

The series started at the beginning of 2018 with Colorsathlon, based on Mariobrosaa Productions's Keynoticosathlon. The first four episodes of the series were made in PowerPoint, with all subsequent episodes being made in Keynote. Colorsathlon finished within just two weeks, being followed by three more series: Colorsathlon 2, Bowserhexacontathlon and Bedtefpentacontathlon. However, there were very long gaps between these series due to other interests, and eventually all of these were cancelled.

The fifth series and second completed series was Bedtefhexacontathlon, which had technically 57 events and lasted from August 2022 to October 2024. The current series, Keynotenneacontathlon, is the largest Keynotathlon to ever be made, with 70 contestants competing in 90 events.

Camps

Battle for Rainbow Gem City

Battle for Rainbow Gem City was Kyoton-9's first successful camp, lasting from 23 September 2024 to 18 Janury 2025. It was not his first attempt at making one, however, as he had previously attempted at a Nintendo-themed camp in 2018. Contestants could sign up as either object show characters, Keynotathlon colors or Pokémon. The camp started off with 30 contestants, but the total number increased to 34 through debuting.

BFRGC was largely inspired by BFRP NEO, since both camps had a point-based system for eliminations and levelled items. Even though the initial attempt of a BFRP-styled camp initially started well on the surface, the camp had numerous errors mostly related to items that disrupted its flow. Eventually, a massive rant sent by Transparent Magenta (Viogenta) in Kyoton-9's DMs led to the camp's cancellation, as Transparent Magenta's elimination was part of the normal elimination system and not an error as she claimed.

Competitive Clash for Keynote Resort

Competitive Clash for Keynote Resort is Kyoton-9's current camp, co-created by Kyoton-9 and Ornect after BFRGC's cancellation. It started off with 40 (currently 41) contestants. The rules were similar to BFRGC, but a major difference was that contestants with Discord now use submission boxes instead of DMs to make organization much easier. As a result, errors have declined significantly in compared to BFRGC.

Mini-TWOWs

Twenty Syllables for Total Success

Twenty Syllables for Total Success (TSTS) was Kyoton-9's first mini-TWOW, lasting from 1 January to 8 March 2025. It was created in response to BFRGC's first cancellation, and was based on Realm of Fifty Characters, with responses being converted to points and contestants submitting responses. Only ten contestants competed in this camp, however. KlondlikeLXIII won the series with 370,763 points.

One Sentence of Redemption

One Sentence of Redemption was Kyoton-9's second mini-TWOW, created after TSTS was finished. It lasted from 9 March to 22 May 2025, and had 13 contestants. It was abruptly cancelled after OSOR 9B due to the Waluigigate voting scandal, which involved Wild Waluigi heavily manipulating the votes to eliminate KlondlikeLXIII starting from 5A.
