Color Battle

Color Battle (rebooted as Color Battle Omega after episode 14) is a Keynotathlon created by weee50, and the sequel series to Color Fight. Color Battle and Color Battle Omega are the second and third seasons of weee50's Color Battle franchise, respectively.
These two seasons make up two different timelines; while the first 8 episodes of Color Battle are shared between both, one timeline fleshes out into a complex story leading to Color Battle Omega (The Black's Revenge Timeline), while the other ends off with a battle royale competition known as Color Battle Royale, without Color Battle Omega ever having happened. The Battle Royale timeline is considered the canon timeline.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Color Battle brings back the 11 contestants from Color Fight, alongside 9 newcomers, and an additional debuter.
Color Battle Omega swaps two Color Battle contestants out for another newcomer.
Color Battle Royale continues from where the 8th episode of Color Battle left off (before any story-related events happened), with the 13 remaining contestants participating in a battle event. In the event, all of the contestants' scores before the event will be converted into health (5 + score / 100, rounded down), and then they will be randomly arranged in a circle. Each turn, a random contestant will attack either one of their neighbors, subtracting 2 HP from them, but also adding 1 HP to the attacker. However, if a contestant's direct neighbor was eliminated, the attacker will move one space in the same direction until they get to an active contestant. This cycle continues until only one contestant remains, who will not only be crowned the winner of the royale, but also the winner of Color Battle itself.

Scoring[edit | edit source]
Color Battle[edit | edit source]
Color Battle uses a different scoring system compared to Color Fight.
Event scores start with last place earning e points, where e equals the current event number plus 4. Each rank earns e more points than the rank directly below. This can be expressed as a formula: e * (c + 1 - r) where r equals an individual contestant's rank, and c = the number of active contestants competing in the event.
As such, the scores for the first event are as follows:
1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
100 | 95 | 90 | 85 | 80 | 75 | 70 | 65 | 60 | 55 |
11th | 12th | 13th | 14th | 15th | 16th | 17th | 18th | 19th | 20th |
50 | 45 | 40 | 35 | 30 | 25 | 20 | 15 | 10 | 5 |
And then the second event's scores are:
1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
114 | 108 | 102 | 96 | 90 | 84 | 78 | 72 | 66 | 60 |
11th | 12th | 13th | 14th | 15th | 16th | 17th | 18th | 19th | |
54 | 48 | 42 | 36 | 30 | 24 | 18 | 12 | 6 |
If a tie happens in an event, the tied contestants will all earn the points corresponding to the lowest rank within the tie.
Starting from event 7, the value of e changes to the event number minus one, then multiplied by two.
Color Battle Omega[edit | edit source]
Not much is known about Color Battle Omega's scoring system due to having too few episodes. However, the first event was not worth any points, while the scores for event 2 were as follows:
1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
190 | 180 | 170 | 160 | 150 | 140 | 130 | 120 | 110 | 100 |
11th | 12th | 13th | 14th | 15th | 16th | 17th | 18th | 19th | |
90 | 80 | 70 | 60 | 50 | 40 | 30 | 20 | 10 |
Events[edit | edit source]
The Battle Royale timeline only comprises of the first 8 events from Color Battle, followed by the royale itself, retconning what happened during all subsequent events.

- ↑ In this event, ties give points corresponding to the highest rank within the tie instead of the lowest.
- ↑ Before the event, it was revealed that one contestant's elimination was due to an error in the results of the event they got eliminated in. As such, they were brought back with 150 extra points as compensation.
- ↑ The remaining contestants were given random numbers of points due to Black taking over.
- ↑ Between this and the previous event, every contestant between 8th and 13th on the leaderboard were killed in a lava pit. After this event, the original scores were restored and all contestants eliminated prior to episode 9 rejoined and replaced the slots of the dead contestants based on when they were eliminated (later elimination = replace higher ranked dead contestant).
- ↑ The eliminated contestants' side was replaced with potential debutants. The last debutant standing joins the game.
- ↑ This event uses different scoring: every letter painted inside a full word earns a contestant 20 points.
- ↑ Although there was a part 1 of this episode, no part 2 has ever surfaced. However, during the event, all remaining contestants died in the lava pit from carykh's Algicosathlon. This excludes those who were eliminated in the previous two events.
- ↑ All contestants from Color Battle were successfully revived by Color Recovery Centers. However, only those that were recovered by the best-performing recovery center qualified for Color Battle Omega, alongside the contestant who built that recovery center.
- ↑ Due to a situation regarding the host, nobody earned points for this event. However, the contestant who ranked last still got eliminated.
