Alphabet Danger

Alphabet Danger is an individual event that occasionally appears in Keynotathlons.

This event was uniquely made for Keynotathlons, and does not have a prior Algothon equivalent.

Rules

Each contestant must pick one of these 26 letters of the Latin alphabet:

N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z

There will be as many rounds as there are letters minus one. In each round, a letter will be randomly selected to be bad, and the contestant(s) who chose that letter will be eliminated from the event. The last contestant standing will win.

Due to there being 26 letters to choose from, this event works best with 26 contestants, since all letters can be chosen by contestants, and no contestants would share the same letter, thus preventing any ties.

To work with more than 26 contestants, a Keynotathlon creator may choose to either allow ties or add more symbols to choose from.

Trivia

  • In Algopokathlon, an event called "Letter Danger" only had nine letters instead of 26, due to the lower number of contestants.
